STORY OF AN ARTIST
Kiara (Kiartistics) is a freelance artist, pianist, guitarist, and singer based and raised in Miami, Florida. She was always surrounded by and introduced to new forms of art by her mother, who is a singer and a craftsperson, and her grandmother, who paints landscapes and still lifes. Self-taught, she began pencil drawing in 2009 at 12 years old starting with freehand cartoon drawings. She has since then ventured out into cartooning and storytelling and specializes in realistic portraiture and digital work. She is currently focusing on expressive works, primarily in digital media.

She has also had her work displayed in her highschool Alonzo and Tracy Mourning High and has contributed to painting several murals throughout the school. Additionally, she's won an honorable mention in the "Beyond The Dot" exhibition showcased by SCAD Atlanta.
Her art is inspired by dynamics, expression, and interpretation. She loves soft and bold colors, balance, and playing with different mediums. She tries to always explore, play with, and be adventurous when developing new ideas.
